The IMC encourages users of the Community Center to become members of the organization. Membership is $50/year, $25 for low income. Membership forms can be picked up at the IMC or you can sign up online. All rates are discounted from market rates to encourage the proliferation of media and arts related activities in our community. These rates are applicable for events open to the public. Smaller events may appeal to the Shows group for alternative rates by either emailing shows@ucimc.org or coming to a meeting every Thursday at 7pm in the U-C IMC main space. The Shows Group reserves the right to both raise and lower any deposit or hourly rate.
IMC Performance Space:
2500 square feet. Holds 350+. Connected to the sun room (see below). Raised stage in pieces to customize size; professional lighting and sound sound equipment. 50+ chairs.

This deposit reserves the space, stage, and the sound system (mains and mixer).

This deposit is required if an event needs microphones, cables, stands, and other on-stage equipment.

Only venued approved sound technicians are allowed to use the venue sound system and access the Venue Equipment Cabinet. Venue will train and approve sound technicians during Shows Group Meetings every first Thursday of the month at 7PM. Venue may or may not have sound technicians available. Access to Venue Equipment Cabinet (Microphones, Mic Stands, Direct Boxes, Adapters, etc.) requires and the additional $50 refundable equipment deposit. No venue approved sound technician means no show.

Library:
This is a cozy shared space central to the first floor. Holds ~30. Shows and 1st floor rentals get precedence. Free to use as available. Groups with regular meetings in the library are encouraged to become IMC members and contribute $5-10 per hour to the IMC. Looking for a permanent location? We also rent studio and office spaces.
